US native singer / songwriter, Doc RootSeller left Northern Appalachia with a bundle of his family’s cherished vinyl, travelled Europe and settled in East Anglia in 1991, finding kinship for his love of home-grown roots, rock, blues and soul music on the bustling UK music scene while supporting world-class acts on tour. Pursuit of family life and the distraction of corporate hats made performing a guilty weekend pleasure.
The push and pull of these forces forged a soul-searching, home-sick, fun-loving songwriting style laid therapeutically bare in a flood of compelling story-driven songs.

Since 2021, Doc has ditched the corporate hats and reignited a fire in the studio with an insatiable craving to share his music and put it on the open road. With restorative satisfaction and inspiration drawn from the Appalachian heart-spring of roots music, Doc’s been spreading the message with a tireless series of “other-worldly” live solo shows. He’s quickly acquired a reputation for delivering feverishly gritty lyrics, soul-powered vocals and authentically earthy acoustic guitar-driven roots, blues, Americana and sizzling country-soul.
